Personal Microsoft accounts
A personal Microsoft account is the one you use for Outlook.com, Hotmail, Xbox, Skype or a personal OneDrive. It works for Rogue Productions just like a work account — without any organization involved.
Good to know
- No administrator needed. You approve Rogue Productions yourself the first time you sign in.
- Your email is trusted. Microsoft vouches for personal account addresses, so your account is ready straight away.
- No organization features. Organization roles, plans and management only come with a work or school account.
- Security is yours. Turn on two-step verification in your Microsoft account for extra protection — Rogue Productions still asks for its own two-step code as well.
Using both a personal and a work account
You can connect several Microsoft accounts to one Rogue Productions account — for example your personal account and your work account — from Sign-in methods. Which one you sign in with decides what you see: your organization’s access only appears when you sign in with your work account.
Managing Rogue Productions in your Microsoft account
You can see and remove the permission you gave Rogue Productions at account.live.com/consent/Manage. Removing it there means you’ll be asked to approve again next time; to stop signing in with that account, disconnect it in Sign-in methods.
Still stuck? Contact Rogue Productions support — include the “Reference” shown on any sign-in error page. This guide describes how sign-in works today; it is updated with every change to it.
