Frequently asked questions

Does Rogue Productions get my Microsoft password?

No. You type it only on Microsoft’s own page. We receive a signed statement from Microsoft saying which account signed in.

Can Rogue Productions read my email, files or calendar?

No. We ask only for sign-in permissions (openid, profile, email). Some Rogue Productions products connect to Microsoft 365 separately, with their own explicit setup — signing in never grants that.

Which Microsoft accounts work?

Work and school accounts (Microsoft Entra ID) and personal Microsoft accounts (Outlook.com, Hotmail, Xbox, Skype).

Why do I still need a Rogue Productions two-step code?

It protects your Rogue Productions account independently of any Microsoft account. Organizations can choose to accept Microsoft’s MFA instead for their members. Details

Can I use both a password and Microsoft?

Yes — and it’s a good idea. Manage them in Sign-in methods.

Can I connect more than one Microsoft account?

Yes, up to five — for example a personal and a work account.

What happens when I sign out?

You’re signed out of Rogue Productions everywhere on this site. You stay signed in to Microsoft 365.

What if I change my Microsoft email address?

Nothing breaks — we recognise your account by Microsoft’s permanent identifier, not your email. Refresh in Sign-in methods updates what we display.

My organization connected Rogue Productions — do I have to do anything?

Sign in with your work account. If you already have a Rogue Productions account, connect your work account to it first so you keep one account.

Who can see what I do?

Your organization sees your name, organization email, roles and last organization sign-in. Rogue Productions keeps a security log of sign-ins and account changes, visible to you under Security.

Is my data stored in my organization’s tenant?

No. Your Rogue Productions account lives with Rogue Productions. Your organization’s tenant is only used to sign you in and to decide your access.

What does “Owner accepts Microsoft MFA” mean for me?

If your organization’s Owner turned it on and Microsoft confirms you just completed MFA, you won’t be asked for the Rogue Productions code on that sign-in.

How quickly does removing someone take effect?

Removing an assignment and refreshing the roster in Rogue Productions ends their organization sessions immediately. Otherwise, the next hourly (or 15/30-minute) check catches it.

Can I close my account?

Yes, from Security. If you own an active organization, transfer ownership or disconnect it first.
