Troubleshooting
Every sign-in error page shows a Reference. Find it below.
| Reference | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
expired | The sign-in took longer than 10 minutes, or was started in another tab. | Start again. |
cancelled | You closed or declined Microsoft’s prompt. | Try again when ready. |
admin_approval_required | Your organization requires an administrator to approve new apps. | Ask your IT administrator. |
not_assigned | Your organization only lets assigned people use Rogue Productions. | Ask your IT administrator to assign you. |
ca_blocked | A Conditional Access policy blocked the sign-in (device, network, location, risk). | Try from an allowed device/network, or ask IT. |
interaction_required | Your organization wants you to sign in again (e.g. repeat MFA). | Start again and complete Microsoft’s prompts. |
account_disabled | Microsoft says the account is disabled. | Contact your IT administrator or Microsoft. |
app_removed_from_tenant | Your organization removed Rogue Productions from its tenant. | Ask IT whether that was intended. |
app_disabled_in_tenant | Your organization turned Rogue Productions off. | Ask IT to turn it back on. |
wrong_tenant | The chosen account isn’t valid here (often a guest account). | Choose a different account. |
personal_not_allowed | Personal accounts are temporarily unavailable. | Use a work account or a Rogue Productions account. |
token_invalid | The sign-in didn’t pass our checks; nothing changed. | Start again; contact support if it repeats. |
unavailable | Microsoft couldn’t be reached. | Wait a minute; use your password if you have one. |
config_error / credential_error | A problem on our side — we’ve been alerted. | Try later, or use your password. |
org_suspended | Your organization’s access is paused. | Contact your organization’s owner or our support. |
account_blocked | Your Rogue Productions account is suspended or closed. | Contact support. |
Other common questions
Microsoft keeps signing me in as the wrong account
Choose Use another account on Microsoft’s account picker, or sign out of the other account in that browser first.
I signed in with Microsoft and got a brand-new account
The Microsoft account wasn’t connected to your existing Rogue Productions account (and its email didn’t match one Microsoft vouches for). Sign in to your existing account with its password and connect the Microsoft account from Sign-in methods. If you created a new account by mistake, close it from Security.
I was signed out in the middle of something
Your organization changed your access, disabled your account, or wants you to sign in again — the hourly check noticed. The page you land on says which.
The Microsoft button isn’t on the sign-in page
Microsoft sign-in may be temporarily off. Use your password, or try again later.
